Done Differently
Cardiff Smile Centre is an established dentist in the centre of Cardiff that existing branding and website simply ‘ticked a box’. The challenge for them as a business was to move into more private work (away from NHS treatments). We designed a brand and website (including videos) that moved away from a traditional dental practice, in terms of visual and spoken tone. We developed a calming visual treatment, to help encourage more regular treatments for people who may have existing anxiety around visiting their dentist.
Visual calmness
Following research into why people might avoid dental treatment, we gained insight that 'dental anxiety' is a common and growing concern. This shaped the brand itself and every digital and web application we produced. Visual and spoken tones were explored, which we then applied to their social media channels, which we manage on their behalf.
